Product Description
The Nania i-Max Luxe car seat is a growing car seat group 1/2/3. This means that the car seat is suitable for children weighing from 9 to 36 kg. The weight of your child determines whether this car seat is suitable for your child. The age indication is approximately from 1 to 12 years.
The car seat has an internal 5-point harness that can be adjusted in height. The backrest and headrest offer good sideways protection in case of impact. The headrest is adjustable in height in several positions.

Installation of the Nania iMax
The car seat is fastened in the car using the 3-point car seat belt. The Nania I-Max Group 1/2/3 car seat is always fastened in the car with the direction of travel.
If you use the car seat in combination with the internal 5-point harness, then the car seat will be fixed in the car differently than when you no longer use it (from 15 kg). An older child who no longer fits in the 5-point harness (from about 15 kg) is stuck in the 3-point car seat belt. Please read the instructions carefully and watch the video for support.
Transporting your child in the car
As soon as the car seat is fixed in the car, put your child in the car seat.
Up to 18 KG, you secure your child in the 5-point harness. This harness has height-adjustable shoulder straps. The internal harness has an independent shoulder system which makes it even easier to fasten both parts of the harness properly and therefore safely. We recommend that you keep about a finger thickness of space so that you don't tie your child too tightly. On both sides of the harness are a clamping mechanism which can be operated with one hand.
As soon as you remove your child from the car seat, it is useful to remove the shoulder part of the harness so that you have enough height when the child is put back in.
From 15 KG it is possible to remove the internal harness from the I-Max car seat. Your child will then be secured with the help of the 3-point car seat belt present in the car. The foldable armrest is useful when your child is seated in the car seat.
The car seat has a backrest that cannot be removed. This prevents misuse of the seat, which is of course a lot safer.
The car seat has a comfortable padding and comes with a head and knee cushion. The cover of the car seat is easy to clean with a damp cloth. We do not recommend washing the cover in the washing machine. Car seat covers are often treated with a fire retardant fabric that does not go well with machine washing. The fabric is very wrinkled and feels hard. A good damp cloth is more than enough to clean the chair cover well again.
Tilt position
The I-Max has an integrated tilting position in the seat of the car seat. This is especially useful when the rear seat of the car is very flat. The tilt position is not a sleeping position. It only ensures that your child does not sit too upright when the back seat is very flat. For the little ones who still sleep a lot during the longer journeys, we recommend a group 0/1 car seat. For short journeys and older children, however, this is a fine car seat that you can enjoy for a long time.

Not all car seats fit in all vehicles. If you do not have a standard rear seat, please contact us for consultation and advice. The Nania i-Max is a universal car seat which, as far as known, can be fitted in all cars with an automatic 3-point seat belt.
The Nania I-Max car seat has been tested and approved according to the European ECE R44/04 certification. The car seat has also been tested according to the requirements of the ADAC. In this test, the bar is much higher than the statutory approval requirements. These tests are published by the ANWB, among others.
